Founded January of 2004, Mint Handbags, LLC ® designs and manufactures custom and ready-made handbags and accessories. Mint Handbags’ concept was started by Holly Poledicha after leaving a high volume computer sales position. Holly has been designing apparel for many years. She has studied fashion design and merchandising at Los Angeles Trade Tech School, Long Beach College and Denver 's Emily Griffith Opportunity School.

The name Mint™ comes from putting a penny in every “Mint Bag.” It is proper etiquette to place money in a wallet or purse that you give as a gift. The money is a gesture of luck and prosperity, and since every Mint Handbag has a penny sewn in the lining, you will never be caught penniless.

Our bags are named after people who have appeared on American Currency. The “Salmon Chase” $10,000 bill is so unique and rare that we named our very own notable “Chase Bag” after it. You will also find Washington, Jackson, Grant and many more in our line of distinct bags that assure appeal, attention and grace.
